RCRA Hazardous Waste Permit Renewal – NAS Corpus Christi

Bluestone prepared TCEQ Part A and Part B Class 3 Modification Permit for a new hazardous waste storage facility “Building 258” at Naval Air Station (NAS) Corpus Christi. Tasks completed to update the application and complete the Permit Modification included: revising the permit text and maps for the new building location, Emergency Procedures and Contingency Plan updates with additional procedures for a fire alarm and high-expansion foam fire suppression system, egress and evacuation routes, and safety equipment locations, Engineering Reports and sump containment computations required for the permit, Closure Plan modifications, and Hazardous Water Permit Application Fee updating. All changes and updates for the Class 3 Modification were documented in the RCRA Part B Checklist in excel spreadsheet format.
