Description:

Avatar provided Clean Air Act (CAA) compliance services and support to the Ft. Belvoir Environmental and Natural Resources Division (ENRD). The Avatar team brought its’ extensive knowledge of the CAA and the Virginia Air Quality Regulations to support Ft. Belvoir in its’ efforts to insure compliance with all aspects of the CAA, as well as related Virginia regulations. The team also interfaced with federal and state regulators to develop a clear path for ENRD to understand the impacts of new CAA regulations on the Fort operations. All necessary security clearance were acquired by the team and significant field work was performed including inspections of equipment and operations throughout the Fort. The team also provided on-site personnel with all applicable Compliance and Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) training programs. Detailed records of inspections, emission inventories, training and maintenance records, hours of operation, fuel usage, visible emission observations, and other records applicable to CAA compliance were maintained and submitted to the applicable regulatory agencies.
