Bluestone was incorporated in 2010 in Berwyn, PA. Our mission is to provide engineering solutions and exceptional service while building long-term relationships. Bluestone uses a unique technical and professional approach focused on sustainability and client service. Bluestone’s owner and president, Lisa Myers, PE, conducted business as a sole proprietor has held contracts with a variety of public and private sector firms for two decades.
Bluestone’s staff consists of engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, and a Certified Industrial Hygienist. We have a seasoned staff with an average of over 20 years of experience in the environmental industry. Bluestone prioritizes maintenance of a low overhead rate. The combination of experienced personnel and low overhead results in high quality, insightful, and holistic approaches to complex problems in a cost-effective manner. With demonstrated integrity and commitment, Bluestone’s core staff is empowered to fully engage with each client to ensure technical compliance. Additionally, Bluestone’s strategic alliances with a variety of trusted small businesses allow for seamless staffing expansion to meet project demands. About the Owner
Lisa H. Myers, PE is the president of Bluestone Environmental Group, Inc. Previously she served as the president of Myers Engineering for nine years. She has over 30 years of experience in environmental engineering applications in both the public and private sector. Previous work experience includes the Philadelphia Water Department, General Electric, and Weston Solutions, Inc. Her specialties are environmental compliance, regulatory interaction, waste management, and site investigation/remediation. Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from West Virginia Institute of Technology and a masters degree in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University. She is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Georgia.
